Azeri FM picked wrong audience for Karabakh remarks - expert

PanARMENIAN.Net - An Armenian political analyst commented on Azeri Foreign Minister’s statement at OSCE Ministerial Council Meeting in Dublin.

“In his remarks, Elmar Mammadyarov suggested that “Baku is interested to continue peaceful talks for Karabakh conflict settlement,” making it quite obvious that the speech had little in common with Azeri state policy,” Levon Melik-Shahnazaryan told PanARMENIAN.Net

“However, Mammadyarov chose a wrong audience, the OSCE Minsk Group, of all organizations, being well familiar with the process,” the expert said.

The expert further hailed Armenian Foreign Minister’s refusal to meet the Azeri side, with Baku’s policy of hatred proving no peace is possible in the years to come.
