Armenian-U.S. working group to be set up

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met Dec 8 with Mayor of Los Angeles Antonio Villaraigosa.

Mayor Villaraigosa briefed Prime Minister Sargsyan on Armenians’ involvement in the city’s life, with cooperation prospects discussed.

The two officials further agreed to set up a working group to develop joint cooperation projects.

The city’s Armenian community representatives, U.S. ambassador to Yerevan John Heffern and Armenian officials were present at the meeting, the government’s press service reported.
