Armenian parliament speaker, OSCE PA head discuss Karabakh issue

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan met with OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President Riccardo Migliori.

Abrahamyan highly assessed cooperation with OSCE institutions, stressing the role of OSCE PA in inter-parliamentary dialogue.

He further hailed OSCE monitoring of presidential and parliamentary elections, underscoring the need for further cooperation.

Mr. Migliori, in turn, gave high assessment to the cooperation between OSCE PA and Armenian National Assembly, with regional issues, Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement and other issues discussed.

The parties deemed peaceful resolution of the problem possible only in the framework of OSCE Minsk Group.

On December 10, Hovik Abrahamyan attended Moscow hosted international conference on “Modern Parliamentarism and Future of Democracy”.
