Armenia posts 4,5% increase in foreign trade turnover

PanARMENIAN.Net - The negative balance of foreign trade turnover amounted to $2 546.3 mln (AMD 1 022.6) in January-November 2012.

Armenia’s foreign trade turnover totaled $527.6 mln (AMD 214.8 bln) in November 2012 increasing by 4,5% compared to the same period in 2011, according to updated statistical data.

Export amounted to $126.2 mln (AMD 51.4 bln) in November 2012, increasing by 1,3% against 2011 results. A 5,5% increase was recorded in import against 2011 results bringing it to $401.4 mln. (AMD 163.4 bln), the RA National Statistical Service reported.

The negative balance of foreign trade turnover amounted to $2 546.3 mln (AMD 1 022.6) in January-November 2012, against the same period in 2011.
