  Heritage congress kicks off in Yerevan December 22, 2012 - 12:59 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The 9th congress of Heritage party kicked off in Yerevan. As party member Anahit Bakhshyan noted in her opening speech, a civil meeting signaled the start to the congress. The congress is set to confirm party leader Raffi Hovannissian’s nomination for the upcoming presidential elections. In conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, Heritage spokesman Hovsep Khurshudyan said the party will hold a confidence stance ahead of the polls. Members of all parliamentary groups, PM, Energy Minister and the chair of the Public Services Regulatory Commission were invited to participate. Vahan Hovhannisyan voiced hope that the ruling authorities acknowledge the difficulties Armenia currently faces. Prior to the vote, RPA parliamentary group leader Galust Sahakyan announced the party’s decision to vote against the bill.
