Paper: Armenian President to give more frequent press conferencesDecember 25, 2012 - 11:55 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Zhoghovurd daily, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has not given a single press conference with local journalists present during his term in office. In conversation with the paper’s reporter, presidential spokesman Armen Arzumanyan noted, “Armenian President has given a number of press conferences and interviews in the past few years with both local and foreign journalists present. I think both press conferences and interviews will become more frequent ahead of the presidential polls.” The news conferences were held mainly with foreign guests, with several independent media representative given an opportunity to ask a question, the paper reported.
