The former One Tree Hill star is currently in talks about taking on the part in what is described as an "end of the world thriller". If he signs up for the film, Chad will join Nicolas Cage, who is already on board. The movie will be based on the first of a series of faith-based novels by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins. It will be a reboot, because the books were previously adapted into three low-budget movies starring Kirk Cameron from 2001 to 2005.
