WBO champ Arthur Abraham to celebrate New Year in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - WBO world champion Arthur Abraham has arrived in Armenia to celebrate the New Year in his homeland.

“I return here after every one of my fights; this time I travelled to Armenia to spend the New Year with my family and friends. I'm happy to be in Yerevan,” Abraham said.

The boxer deems the year 2012 to have been successful, citing his bout with Robert Stieglitz to win WBO 168lb belt, and retaining it in a fight against Mehdi Bouadla.

“I hope for similar success in the year 2013,” Abraham told PanARMENIAN.Net wishing joy and welfare to Armenian people in the year to come.
