Armenia’s brandy production up 24,7% in Jan-Nov 2012

PanARMENIAN.Net - 16 448,4 thousand liters of brandy was produced in Armenia in January-November 2012, with production volume growing 24,7% against the same period in 2011 (13 192,9 thousand liters).

According to the National Statistical Service, 8 736,1 thousand liters of vodka was produced in the same period, production volume increasing by 19,7% against 2011. 4615,5 thousand liters of wine was produced in January-November 2012 against 5 137,5 thousand liters in 2011 (10,2% decrease).

During the reporting period, beer production totaled 13 124,9 thousand liters, dropping by 6,3% against 2011 output (14 000,6 thousand liters). Production of champagne dropped by 29,6%, totaling 331,8 thousand liters.

In January-November 2012, production of soft drinks in Armenia increased by 11,9% to total 38 843,7 thousand liters.
