Two more candidates leave Armenia’s presidential race

PanARMENIAN.Net - Two more presidential hopefuls announced a decision to withdraw candidacy in Armenia. Coordinator of “Essence of Time” socialist movement Robert Aharonyan and non-partisan Taron Abrahamyan gave up further struggle due to non-payment of the nomination deposit.

“I deem it senseless to spend so much money on elections,” Aharonyan told a press conference today, Jan 10.

Prosperous Armenia party member Ruben Ayvazyan left the presidential race yesterday, Jan 9.
