Minister: no organ trafficking cases occurred in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - No organ trafficking cases ever occurred in Armenia, Minister of Healthcare said.

Derenik Dumanyan said the issue was in the focus of the attention of law enforcement agencies.

Ashtarak city resident Karapet Karapetyan earlier addressed “We won’t keep silent” civil initiative group with a request to raise awareness about the glaring case that occurred to his wife. He said mafia involved in the sale of human body parts operated in Armenia, accusing director of Research Center of Maternal and Child Health Protection Georgy Okoev of the crime.
