Pakistani soldier shot dead on Kashmir border

PanARMENIAN.Net - A Pakistani soldier was killed when Indian troops fired at a post across the disputed Kashmir border, the army says, according to Belfast Telegraph.

The "unprovoked" shooting is the third incident of violence across the Kashmir border in recent days, raising tension between arch-enemies Pakistan and India.

The two countries have fought three major wars since they achieved independence from Britain in 1947, two of them over Kashmir.
