The 55-inch display, which was a prototype model, is said to provide the ideal platform for panoramic viewing and taking in nature scenes. Samsung was not the only tech company to show off television hardware with a curved screen at CES. LG unveiled the 55EM9700, a set designed to offer viewers a more cinema-like experience.
