Prosperous Armenia leader’s remarks not discussed in Brussels![]() January 16, 2013 - 16:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Members of the Armenian delegation Artak Zakaryan and Koryun Nahapetyan summed up the results of National Assembly speaker Hovik Abrahamyan’s visit to Brussels. Mr Zakaryan noted that meeting with EU Enlargement Commissioner Štefan Füle were on parliament speaker’s agenda, with Armenia’s foreign policy priorities, the current stage of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement and Stepanakert airport operation discussed. Mr Nahapetyan, in turn, said that a number of events aiming to deepen relations with the European Union are planned, with Armenia-hosted European Parliament week, EP observers’ monitoring of the upcoming presidential elections, as well as Yerevan-hosted 2014 Euronest meeting among them. As the delegation members further noted, Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan’s statement on anti-corruption struggle was not discussed. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
