Catholicos Karekin II meets Javakhk Armenians

PanARMENIAN.Net - Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II met with a delegation of Javakhk Armenians led by the president of Russia’s Javakhk Diaspora Aghasi Arabyan.

The meeting focused on reconstruction of Armenian churches in Georgia. The Catholicos further expressed confidence that Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili will keep his promise to resolve the issue of Armenian churches in Georgia.

In conclusion, Karekin II voiced intention to up efforts in resolution of Javakhk problems and increase visits to the area.
