Coach hopes Aronian can advance his positions

PanARMENIAN.Net - Tata Steel Chess Tournament is ongoing in Dutch city of Wijk aan Zee, with Armenian grandmasters Levon Aronian and Sergei Movsesian participating.

I conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, head coach Arshak Petrosyan voiced hope that Aronian will improve his positions (he currently comes 3rd).

“In a few months, Aronian will participate in London-hosted Chess Candidates Tournament, which is a much more important event. He must show a good result there,” the coach said.

Mr Petrosyan further hailed Sergei Movsesian’s performace in group B.

Tata Steel Chess 2013 will run until January 27.
