Dawson joins The Proposal leading man Ryan Reynolds, Last Resort hunk Scott Speedman and The Killing star Mireille Enos. Reynolds plays the father of an abducted child. Eight years after she was taken, a series of disturbing clues convince him that the now 17 year-old girl is still alive. Producers say Dawson will play the detective in charge of the investigation. The actress is currently filming the Sin City follow-up Sin City: A Dame To Kill For. Queen of the Night is based on an original story by Egoyan.
