Armenian judokas to participate in European Open Championship![]() January 29, 2013 - 10:30 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - From February 2-3, Armenian judo team will participate in Tbilisi-hosted European Open Championship. As the head coach told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, on January 19-31, the squad will be conducting a team practice session. Tigran Babayan voiced hope for the athletes to have successful participation in the championship, with Artyom Baghdasaryan, Gor Harutyunyan and Surik Garnikyan unable to perform due to injuries. The coach named the line-up as follows: (60 kg) Hovhannes Davtyan, Arthur Vardanyan, Gor Mkrtchyan and Grigor Ivanyan; (66 kg) Armen Nazaryan, Tigran Varosyan, Arsen Baghdasaryan; (73 kg) Narek Sukiasyan, Arthur Yeranosyan and Mher Karapetyan; (81 kg) Andranik Chaparyan, Karen Janoyan; (90 kg) Rafayel Davtyan; (100 kg) Hakob Arakelyan and (+100 kg) Azat Abrahamyan.
