Armenian Communist Party not to back any presidential candidate![]() January 30, 2013 - 17:28 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Communist Party announced a decision neither to nominate a presidential candidate, nor back any of the hopefuls, given the current pre-election period. “One of the candidates expresses readiness to leave the race, another goes on strike, while the rest “conduct election campaigns,” party leader said. Ruben Tovmasyan further noted it senseless to nominate a candidate due to incumbent president’s privileges, adding that the situation will remain unchanged following the Feb 19 polls. Partner news Tigran Sargsyan: the authorities will do the utmost in the coming 4-5 years to ensure favorable conditions for the people. Members of all parliamentary groups, PM, Energy Minister and the chair of the Public Services Regulatory Commission were invited to participate. Vahan Hovhannisyan voiced hope that the ruling authorities acknowledge the difficulties Armenia currently faces.
