2 killed in clashes with police in Cairo

PanARMENIAN.Net - Two people have been killed in clashes between protesters and police in the Egyptian capital, medics have said, according to BBC News.

The two men were hit by gunshots on the edge of Cairo's Tahrir Square. One died at the scene and the second in hospital.

More than 50 people have died in clashes in cities across Egypt in the past week, the deadliest violence since President Mohammed Morsi took office. Critics accuse him of betraying the revolution, which he denies.
