Future posts of candidates Bagratyan, Hovannissian debated![]() January 31, 2013 - 17:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The posts the ruling party candidate Serzh Sargsyan will offer to his rivals, ex-prime minister Hrant Bagratyan and Heritage leader Raffi Hovannissian after winning a second term are currently the most heated discussions ahead of the presidential polls. According to media reports, rumors are afloat on formation of “national consensus government”, with Hovannissian and Bagratyan likely to be offered the posts of foreign minister and economy minister respectively. In conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, candidate Bagratyan’s spokesman Karine Harutyunyan said, “Bagratyan is a winning candidate, with his team working in that direction. We don’t discuss such issues.” Candidate Hovannissian’s spokesman Hovsep Khurshudyan deemed the discussion of the issue unfounded. “Raffi Hovannissian himself will appoint the foreign minister after he wins Feb 18 polls,” the spokesman told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.
