OSCE Yerevan Office condemns candidate Hayrikyan’s shooting![]() February 1, 2013 - 20:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan, Ambassador Andrey Sorokin has condemned the assassination attempt on Armenian presidential candidate Paruyr Hayrikyan. “I am shocked by the occurred. I condemn the violence recorded during a most crucial period for Armenia, ahead of presidential elections. I am confident that relevant measures will be taken to investigate the incident,” Ambassador Sorokin said, expressing hope that the move won’t hamper the electronic processes in Armenia. Partner news At the meeting, the parties focused on the prospects of bilateral relations, and cooperation in the framework of international organizations. Dwelling on the hike in gas prices, Iskandaryan said the change also affected other countries importing Russian gas. Armen Martirosyan noted that the price rise will further deteriorate the situation in the country, fostering emigration.
