4oD app for Android devices unveiled

PanARMENIAN.Net - 4oD is now available in native app form for Android devices, Digital Spy said.

The application allows users to catch up on Channel 4, E4 and More4 programming, with a 30-day window for recent content.

Android tablet and smartphone owners can also access episodes of classic Channel 4 shows from the past 30 years, such as The Inbetweeners, Location, Location, Location and Brass Eye, through the 'Collections' tab.

4oD was already available through a wide range of platforms, including games consoles, PCs, connected television sets and iOS devices.

In December last year, the service released a dedicated application for Windows 8 in a move that saw Channel 4 become the first UK broadcaster to support Microsoft's latest operating system.

The 4oD app is available as a free download for Android devices through Google Play.
