The AMPAS confirms that the four A-listers will serve as presenters during the event scheduled to take place on February 24, AceShowbiz said. "We are honored to have Meryl, Octavia, Christopher and Jean, last year's Oscar winners in each of the acting categories, return to the Oscar stage," Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron announced Tuesday, February 5. Streep, a three-time Oscar winner, snatched the Best Actress gong in 2012 thanks to her portrayal of Margaret Tatcher in "The Iron Lady", while Dujardin was the first France-born thespian to ever win a Best Actor prize thanks to his role in silent movie "The Artist". As for Plummer and Spencer, the two won the Oscars for their supporting roles in "The Help" and "Beginners" respectively. The four Oscar winners will join Mark Wahlberg and the titular teddy bear of "Ted" as presenters. The foul-mouthed toy created by Seth MacFarlane gushed that he's "excited to present an Oscar with Mark Wahlberg. I'm spending the next month learning to pronounce 'Quevanzhane' [Wallis, Best Actress nominee from 'Beasts of the Southern Wild']." Zadan and Meron were also thrilled to welcome the pair at the upcoming Oscars. They announced last month, "We are happy to make it possible for Mark and Ted to make their debut appearance on the Oscar stage. And we won't deny that Ted used his pull with our host to get himself the booking." This year's Academy Awards is set to take place on February 24 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood & Highland Center with MacFarlane serving as the host. Slated as the musical performers for the night are Adele, Norah Jones and Barbra Streisand. The show will be broadcast live on the ABC Television Network in more than 225 countries.
