Samsung rolls out F8500 LED smart TV line

PanARMENIAN.Net - Samsung has lifted the lid on its F8500 LED line of smart televisions, Digital Spy said.

The high-end sets, unveiled at the firm's European Forum, are powered by quad-core processors and come in 55 and 46-inch models.

Samsung's TV arm was active at last month's Consumer Electronics Show, announcing the 85-inch S9 ultra-high definition television and a curved OLED display prototype, as well as other hardware.

Like the Korean tech giant's other high-end TV sets, the F8500 comes with smart features such as Intelligent Viewing technology, online services and a retractile camera to facilitate gesture controls.

"We are really excited about our new premium Smart TV products," said Robert King, vice president of consumer electronics at Samsung Electronic UK and Ireland.

"Every year our customers' expectations get higher and higher and we're proud to be in a position to deliver exactly what they are looking for and more in terms of quality, functionality, features and sophisticated design."

The Samsung F8500 LED TVs will be released in Europe this spring with prices varying depending on the retailer.
