Party rep: forces uninvolved in polls secretly support candidates

PanARMENIAN.Net - A newly-formed Mission party member Manuk Sukiasyan has called on Armenian citizens to vote against all of the presidential candidates.

“It would be the best assessment of the ruling authorities as backing the lesser of two evils would not offer a solution to the problem,” he told a press conference, adding that most of the candidates lack ideological basis.

A member of another newly-formed party New Armenia, Babken Harutyunyan, in turn, said that major forces’ refusal to participate in the polls would lead them to the political archive.

“Now the forces uninvolved in polls pursue the path of secretly backing other candidates. They prefer to express a standpoint only,” Mr Harutyunyan said, urging voters to go to the polls and back one of the candidates.
