  NSS confirms arrest of Hayrikyan attack suspects  February 8, 2013 - 14:17 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - National Security Service detained 2 suspects in a recent assassination attempt on a candidate in Armenia's presidential elections Paruyr Hayrikyan. One of the suspects, Khachatur Poghosyan, 47, was earlier sentenced to prison term over illegal trafficking Poghosyan and Samvel Harutyunyan, 41, confessed to murder attempt, with their motifs being investigated. On Thursday, February 7, Hayrikyan’s health has deteriorated. “Mr Hayrikyan’s health has impaired. Doctors have banned him from leaving hospital, at least for a few days,” Hayrikyan's HQ coordinator said. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
