Samsung announces Galaxy Camera WiFi-only model

PanARMENIAN.Net - Samsung has announced a WiFi-only model of its Galaxy Camera. The Android snapper will sport the same specs as the 3G model but will launch with a more affordable price tag, Digital Spy said.

Running the Android version, 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, the Samsung Galaxy camera has networking capabilities, enabling users to go online and share their photos or videos directly with family and friends.

The connected-camera has a 21x optical touch zoom lens and super-bright 16M BSI CMOS sensor, along with a 4.8-inch (121.2mm) HD Super Clear Touch screen, claimed to be the "world's largest and most vivid camera display".

A range of exclusive photography and video apps are available for the device through Google Play and an automated setting dubbed Smart Pro Mode will help users take optimised pictures.

Samsung is yet to confirm pricing an availability for the new WiFi-only model, but the 3G Galaxy Camera is available in the UK for around £339.
