Hovannisian supporters to stay at Liberty Square till Feb 21

PanARMENIAN.Net - The rally, organized by former presidential candidate, Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian, is ongoing in Yerevan’s Liberty Square.

“We will be looking forward to Feb 21. We will transfer the power to Armenian people. We must stay here until victory,” he said, Mr Hovannisian said, announcing a decision to wait for president-elect Serzh Sargsyan to come to the square.

The rally further featured a speech by former vice-speaker of Armenian parliament Karapet Rubinyan.

“I have already congratulated Raffi Hovannisian. Our success depends on people’s determination. However, Raffi is unable to yield success alone. We must demonstrate commitment. Don’t give up hope. It’s a lasting struggle,” he said.
