 Expert dubs elections formal event for foreigners February 21, 2013 - 10:14 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - People have understood that elections can’t serve a tool to change the situation, political expert said. “The polls bear a mere formal nature. They only serve a tool for several foreigners to record the most appropriate option for them and demand concessions from Armenia. Isn’t the idea of independence utopia?,” Yervand Bozoyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. He further compared the current situation with the Soviet era, noting that the elections didn’t exist in the formal nature then. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
