Accordng to Digital Spy, the platform holder has on Tuesday (February 26) rolled out an update in 95 different languages to introduce its latest web browser to machines running the previous generation operating system. Internet Explorer 10, which launched along with Windows 8 in October last year, offers numerous improvements over Internet Explorer 9, including faster speeds and support for more web standards. A preview build of the software has been available for PCs running the 32-bit or 64-bit versions of Windows 7 since November last year. Last month, it was reported that the launch of Windows 8 failed to boost Microsoft's profits, which saw a 4% year-on-year decline in the final three months of 2012 despite a 3% rise in revenue. Windows 7 users can update their browsers by visiting Microsoft's downloads page. Partner news The images also reveal that Samsung has implemented S-Voice, S-Beam, and Wi-Fi Direct into the handset. Google has a widely used mapping tool and could adopt Waze’s technology to add social features to the software. The deal comes as Makani carries out the first fully autonomous flights of robot kites bearing its power-generating propellers.
