Expert: Sargsyan-Hovannisian 2nd meeting to take place

PanARMENIAN.Net - People who voted for Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc, Prosperous Armenia and Heritage parties during 2012 parliamentary elections backed Heritage leader Raffi Hovannisian during 2013 presidential vote, political expert said.

At March 7 press conference, Stepan Grigoryan hailed Hovannisian’s steps following Feb 18 polls.

“Ex-candidate Hovannisian addressed the Constitutional Court, urging for systematic changes. He holds rallies and is open for consultations,” the expert said, voicing confidence that the second meeting between Serzh Sargsyan and Raffi Hovannisian will take place.

“Power shift won’t benefit the West due to the correct foreign policy reelected president Serzh Sargsyan pursues,” Mr Grigoryan said.
