Court examines appeals of ex-candidates Hovannisian, Ghukasyan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Constitutional Court will examine today, March 11 the appeals of former presidential candidates Raffi Hovannisian and Andrias Ghukasyan, disputing Feb 18 election results.

Legal adviser of Hovannisian headquarters Karen Mezhlumyan and Heritage party representative Zaruhi Postanjyan will represent Raffi Hovannisian, with Andrias Ghukasyan himself to present his appeal.

Tigran Mukuchyan, Armen Smbatyan and Nune Hovhannisyan will represent the Central Election Committee (CEC).

Justice Minister Hrayr Tovmasyan and the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Davit Harutyunyan are reelected president Serzh Sargsyan’s authorized representatives

Raffi Hovannisian and Andrias Ghukasyan addressed the Constitutional Court on March 4, demanding to announce the results of 2013 presidential elections invalid.
