RPA rep. says Serzh Sargsyan may visit Hovannisian

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan may visit ex-candidate Raffi Hovannisian, if necessary, the leader of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) parliamentary group said.

“President Sargsyan is a tolerant person. Hunger strike is an unacceptable way of struggle for me. I guess Hovannisian’s expression “over my dead body” was slip of the tongue. I don’t think he was serious when saying it,” Galust Sahakyan said, commenting on Hovannisian’s decision to go on hunger strike.

“Serzh Sargsyan and his team will never step over own people’s dead bodies. We don’t want victims. Death means inability,” he said and added, “President Sargsyan will take a constitutional oath.”
