Armenian, Russian presidents hail progress in bilateral ties![]() March 12, 2013 - 20:18 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - President Serzh Sargsyan and Russian leader Vladimir Putin met in Russia to discuss bilateral cooperation. At the meeting, Putin congratulated President Sargsyan on his reelection, also hailing progress in Russian-Armenian political, trade and economic ties. The Armenian leader, in turn, noted progress in military cooperation, specifically reminding about the visit of Russian Defense Minister on Armenian Army Day. In conclusion, President Sargsyan invited Putin to pay a state visit to Armenia, Russian President’s press service reported.
