Armenian President won’t be summoned to court as witness

PanARMENIAN.Net - During the discussion of the case disputing the final results of February 18 elections, the Constitutional Court rejected the motion urging to summon reelected president Serzh Sargsyan as a witness.

The Constitutional Court also rejected the motions to summon Nune Hovhannisyan and Stepan Safaryan as witnesses, offers to bring the ballot boxes to the court, to release the voting lists and urge for the list of those having left the country.

The Constitutional Court head Gagik Harutyunyan stressed the need to examine all the documents and take a final decision by March 14.
