“30 Seconds to Mars” alt-rock band to release new album in May

PanARMENIAN.Net - Alternative rock band 30 Seconds to Mars has announced that their upcoming fourth album entitled "Love Lust Faith + Dreams" is set to be released in two months, on May 20. The Jared Leto-fronted band also revealed the album's complete track list as well as its cover artwork, all in a day before the new single "Up In the Air" off the said album, is officially released March 19, AceShowbiz said.

"This is more than an evolution, it's a brand new beginning. Creatively, we've gone to an entirely new place, which is exciting, unexpected, and incredibly inspiring," said Leto, who co-produced the album along with Steve Lillywhite. "This album is more of who we are than we have ever been before," he described the project.

The cover art features the piece "Isonicotinic Acid Ethyl Ester" from Damien Hirst's Spot Paintings series. Another of Hirst's work from his Colour Charts series will also appear on the CD itself.

Last March 1, the band first launched "Up in the Air" into the International Space Station in the SpaceX Dragon Cargo Capsule from Cape Canaveral. "It was amazing to feel it take off," Leto said about the single's physical launch along with a bunch of scientific equipment bound for the mission.

30 Seconds to Mars is set to visit Mission Control Houston and take part in a Q&A session with astronaut Tom Marshburn who is aboard the space station March 18. After that, they will be performing at the Download Festival this summer, together with Queens of the Stone Age, Alice in Chains and Motorhead.
