NKR leader reports daily Azeri ceasefire violations to OSCE MG

PanARMENIAN.Net - The President of Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) Republic Bako Sahakyan met with the OSCE Minsk group co-chairs Igor Popov (Russia), Jacques Faure (France) and Ian Kelly (U.S.) Tuesday, March 19.

At the meeting, the parties dwelled on Nagorno Karabakh settlement, with NKR President stressing that Baku continues its destructive policy, threatening the peace talks as well as regional stability.

The NKR leader further noted that the proposal of Stepanakert not to violate the ceasefire during international and religious holidays was ignored by Azerbaijan, as Baku continues daily violations along the border.

The President reiterated the position of Stepanakert, stressing that Artsakh supports peaceful settlement and resumption of the negotiation format within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group.

Artsakh foreign minister Karen Mirzoyan, personal representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk and other officials were present at the meeting, the Central Information Department at Artsakh President’s Office reported.
