Steve Coogan to topline

PanARMENIAN.Net - The ABC pilot "Doubt" has found some certainty as far as its lead is concerned, TheWrap said.

"Tropic Thunder" actor Steve Coogan has signed on for the pilot, which is being written by "House M.D." creator David Shore.

British actor Coogan will play Vincent, a former cop who's now a cunning, charming low-rent lawyer who uses his street smarts to work the system for his clients while battling his own demons and wooing his ex-wife.

Coogan also lends his voice to the upcoming animated feature "Despicable Me 2," out in July.

"The West Wing" and "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" producer Tommy Schlamme is directing the pilot, which is produced by Sony Pictures Television.
