Oscar winner F. Murray Abraham to guest star in CBS' “Elementary”

PanARMENIAN.Net - CBS' Elementary has nabbed an Oscar winner. F. Murray Abraham has been tapped to guest star on the CBS freshman drama, The Hollywood Reporter said.

The actor -- who won an Academy Award for his work in 1984's Amadeus -- will appear in a May episode of the Jonny Lee Miller drama as The Actuary, a devious hitman whose targets appear to have been killed by natural causes or unfortunate accidents.

When Sherlock (Miller) investigates one such death, he soon finds himself facing off against The Actuary in a battle of wits that will bring him one step closer to finding Moriarty.

Abraham recently guest starred on Showtime's Emmy winner Homeland and had arcs on The Good Wife, FX's Louie and CBS' Blue Bloods. On the feature side, his credits include Dead Man Down and the upcoming I Looked in Obituaries.
