Wounded Armenian soldier’s condition assessed as serious, but stable

PanARMENIAN.Net - Wounded Armenian soldier Sargis Karapetyan’s condition is assessed as serious, but stable, defense ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovannisyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

On March 22, Armenian army soldier Sargis Karapetyan, 1985, received a gunshot wound in the head due to careless handling of service weapon. He was taken to Agarak town hospital, and later to the Central Military Hospital due to sudden deterioration of his condition.

As senior officer of defense ministry’s investigative service Meri Sargsyan told PanARMENIAN.Net a criminal case has been instigated under Article 373 of Criminal Code of Armenia.
