Sargsyan urges Hovannisian to “express ideas without shows”

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan responded to former presidential candidate of Armenia, Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian’s letter.

“I am thankful to you for finally accepting the offer I made during our meeting and expressing your ideas. Though your statement runs counter to the true vision on state-building and constitution, it may foster establishment of an effective dialogue. I highly assess your readiness to assume serious monitoring functions which befit strong opposition. I am confident that we will achieve results, if we work together, based on our common visions.

I urge you to stop the hunger strike, recuperate for a day or two and we will start working seriously together, expressing our ideas quietly, without shows, even in consideration of your incondite exposition,” President Sargsyan’s letter reads.
