Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 to feature flexible display – reportMarch 27, 2013 - 12:34 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 hybrid tablet could feature a flexible display, according to a report, Digital Spy said. South Korean website Asiae claims to have heard from inside sources that the manufacturer is planning to incorporate the flexible OLED technology it showcased at CES 2013 in the device. The OLED displays are made from a form of plastic that is resistant to damage but can be folded almost like a sheet of paper. Samsung's next entry in its Galaxy Note line has been the subject of much speculation, with some reports indicating that the device will have a 5.9-inch display and others predicting 6.3 inches. The device is likely to come with Samsung's new eight-core chip, or a quad-core processor in certain markets, such as the US and UK. Samsung is also thought to be working on improvements to the S Pen stylus and touchscreen technology, following recent features introduced in the Galaxy S4 phone, such as eye-tracking and AirView touchless controls. The tech giant has been tipped to unveil the device alongside the larger Galaxy Tab 3 at the IFA technology trade show in Berlin in September.
