Anne Hathaway, Sam Rockwell to topline “Laggies” dark comedy

PanARMENIAN.Net - Anne Hathaway and Chloe Moretz have signed up to star in dark comedy Laggies, Digital Spy said.

Lynn Shelton will direct the project, which is centered around an immature woman named Megan (Hathaway) who gets freaked out by her boyfriend's marriage proposal.

Megan pretends to go on a career retreat, but actually hides out with her 16-year-old best friend Annika (Moretz).

Scott Pilgrim actor Mark Webber is also in talks to star as Megan's boyfriend, reports Deadline.

Sam Rockwell will play a character named Craig, while novelist Andrea Seigel has written the screenplay.

The film is the follow-up to Shelton's Your Sister's Sister and her upcoming project Touchy Feely.

Chloe Moretz will reprise her role as Hit-Girl in the upcoming superhero sequel Kick-Ass 2, which will open on July 19 in the UK and August 16 in the US.
