Aronian: Candidates Tournament not over for me

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian commented on his round 11 loss against Peter Svidler which brought him to the 3rd spot at Candidates Tournament.

“I don’t think the 22...g5 move was a mistaken one - except there was one detail - the 23.cb move that I passed. I missed an important tactical step, same as I did a couple of days ago in a game against Boris Gelfandt.

“I don’t believe, however, that the tournament is over for me,” Aronian said.

In the 12th round, Aronian will face off against runner-up Vladimir Kramnik.
