According to Agos daily, the attorney of Balikci family Cem Halavurt expressed intention to appeal the court decision. The attorney slammed the testimonies as false, which becomes clearer once the latters are compared with the evidence. “It’s obvious the testimonies were forced,” the attorney said. As Halavurt noted, the ruling will be studied at the court of appeals, to be further submitted to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).
