The actress is in the running to join Kevin Costner in the Ivan Reitman-directed American football comedy, Digital Spy reported citing Variety. The Paramount Pictures movie centers around a general manager who will go to any lengths to secure his pick during the NFL's draft. Garner will play Costner's secretary. She was most recently seen in Disney's The Odd Life of Timothy Green, and will next appear in Dallas Buyers Club. Draft Day was written by Rajiv Joseph and Scott Rothman, and previously appeared on the film industry 'Black List' of acclaimed but unproduced scripts.
