55% of Americans believe U.S. should help S. Korea in case of attack

PanARMENIAN.Net - The majority of Americans (55 percent) believe that the United States should use its military forces to help defend South Korea if it is attacked by North Korea, while 34% say it should not, a recent Gallup poll showed, according to The Jerusalem Post.

The poll was conducted on April 2-3 and included responses from 540 American adults.

Additionally, 43% believe that there's a likely chance North Korea will attack South Korea, while only 28% believe there's a likely chance it will attack the U.S. The majority of Americans (58%) do not think it is likely North Korea will attack the U.S.
