PanARMENIAN.Net - The first new voice cast joining "Kung Fu Panda 3" has been revealed. According to The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision, Bryan Cranston, Mads Mikkelsen and Rebel Wilson have been confirmed to make the "Kung Fu Panda 2" follow-up merrier, AceShowbiz said.

"Argo" actor Cranston, "Hannibal" leading star Mikkelsen, and "Pitch Perfect" actress Wilson will join the returning "Kung Fu Panda" voice cast that includes Angelina Jolie, Jack Black and Seth Rogen. The roles they will be voicing haven't been announced.

The third installment will reunite the main crew from the second movie as Jennifer Yuh Nelson is back as helmer. Producer Melissa Cobb, executive producer Guillermo del Toro, co-producer Jeffrey Hermann and writers/co-producers Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger also return to their respective posts.

Plot details for the upcoming sequel are still scarce, but the movie is confirmed to once again follow Po, the chosen one, "as he continues on his journey mastering the art of Kung Fu ... and noodle slurping." Instead of the initial planned March 2016 release, it is expected to come out on December 23, 2015.

The first two "Kung Fu Panda" movies were well received by viewers and lauded by critics. It raked in over $1.3 billion at the global box office and scored Oscar nominations for best animation.
