The report goes on to say that the so-called iPad 5 will be lighter and thinner than its predecessor, with a slim bezel design similar to that of the iPad mini. Sharp and LG Display are said to be providing 9.7-inch screens for the device, while TPK is assembling the touch panels. The iPad 5 is likely to come with iOS7 pre-installed, which recent reports suggest will be a dramatic overhaul of Apple's mobile operating system.
